Info for Planning Your Event
Congratulations on booking a DJ with Breezy Day Productions! We are here to help in any way that we can. Here we have some resources that are commonly requested when planning your event.
Timeline
Step 1: Download music planning worksheet (see below) and fill out at your convenience.
Step 2: Four weeks before your wedding, send back the planning sheet. (Earlier is OK too)
Step 3: The week of your event, confirm all the details with your DJ.

Charts and Popular Requests:
When filling out the worksheet, it helps to have a reference for some of the most popular songs. There is a great resource at DJ Intelligence that shows the most popular song requests by decade, and also the most popular song requests for weddings. Below are links.

Line Dances:
Below is a list of some popular line dances that get airplay at weddings. If they are right for you and your crowd we are happy to play them. If you don't want ANY line dances, that is no problem, just let us know.
Popular Line Dances
Casper & The Live Platinum Band – Casper Cha-Cha Slide
Cupid – Cupid Shuffle
The Hit Crew – Electric Slide
Tina Turner – Proud Mary
The Village People – Y.M.C.A.
Ultimate Party Mixers – Macarena
Rednex – Cotton Eye Joe - Original Version
The Isley Brothers – Shout
Arrow!!! – Hot Hot Hot
V.I.C. – Wobble
Psy – Gangnam Style
Cali Swag District – Teach Me How to Dougie

Spotify Playlist:
One other way that we can share music is by using Spotify. If you are using spotify, I recommend making 2-3 playlists, one for your ceremony & pre-ceremony, one for cocktail/dinner, one for dancing. If you have more than 10 song requests for your dance set, send us a list of your TOP 5 must play dance songs. It is really easy to make a playlist with 4 hours of music, but we won't be able to get all the songs in during your dance set.
